STANDUP
FOR KIDS clubs in high
schools and colleges will eventually be the backbone of both new and already
existing outreach programs. Clubs will consistently support local STANDUP
FOR KIDS programs by conducting
drives such as loose change drives, food drives, sock drives, hygiene product
drives, sleeping bag drives, etc.
In addition to supporting the local programs, clubs can prevent future runaways with the Don’t Run Away presentations. Clubs are requested to carry out three Don’t Run Away presentations or execute a support drive for a local STANDUP FOR KIDS program every month. If there is not a STANDUP
FOR KIDS chapter in the clubs
area they are assigned to another organization that helps kids. They still
do the Don’t Run Away presentation but everything that they raise
in drives will go to the other organization. |
